Jon Smith has been doing children's ministry for several years and thoroughly enjoys ministering to children.  Jon earned his Bachelors Degree in Youth & Family Ministry from Kentucky Christian University in 2001.

After college, Jon served as a children's minister at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY for four years.  In 2006 he began a new ministry at Hazelwood Christian Church in Indianapolis.

Jon has been a presenter for Gospel Light Publishing and has led a variety of training seminars, camps, and retreats.  Jon is the creator of minister2kids.com and many of the resources on this site.  More than anything, Jon still enjoys being a kid.  He believes he will never "grow up."  And for those of us who know him well, it's true!

No matter what type of event you need a  speaker for, Jon will do a great job.  If you would like Jon to come and speak at a event, or train your leaders, please fill out this speaking form and email it back to us.

Do you want to add a piece to the puzzle by contributing some of your own resources?  There are a couple of different ways you can contribute.  First, you can partner with us and sell your resources on minister2kids.com.  If you have a great resource and need a place to start, we can help.  We also have computer geeks that can turn your idea into software or media resource.  Secondly, you can help contribute to our freebies page.  If you would like to submit a lesson, game idea, creative flyer, or ministry form, we would be happy to post it.

Please send any ideas, or free stuff you would like to contribute to:

Do you have any BRIGHT ideas? If you've done children's ministry for longer than five minutes then you know you could use more resources.  And sometimes it seems like the light bulb just turns on.  That's why we've created the $100 dollar contest.  This is how it works.

Whenever you have a great idea, just submit it to us.  And if we use it, we'll send you $100.  It's that easy!  So whenever you are doing ministry and you think..."I wish someone made ______!"  write it down and let us know.  If we use it, you get $100.
