Laura Smith
The Brains Behind The Brawn
Laura graduated from Kentucky Christian
University with a degree in elementary education and Bible.
Before the births of daughters Hannah and Hillary, Laura taught
at a Christian school. Now she assists Jon in his ministry by
volunteering as a classroom teacher and leading preschool
worship. She loves to watch the expressions on children’s faces
when they discover new things.
What do you like to do with your free
time?
Make crafts with Hannah and Hillary, go on dates with Jon,
Scrapbook, read books and magazines, and take naps.
What is your favorite restaurant?
Olive Garden if it’s just grownups, McDonalds if the girls are
with us- they love the PlayPlace.
What is your favorite TV show?
Lost - I don’t understand everything that’s going on, but it is
very entertaining.
Tell about a memory of church growing up.
I went to church camp every summer. I still remember several of
my counselor’s names because they made an impact on my life. I
want to make the same positive impact on children I lead at
church.
What’s your favorite snack?
Any kind of candy! I love gummy bears, Skittles, Jelly Belly,
Starburst. . . |
